Adding
filters
To
add filters to a slide, select the slide in
the storyboard panel and then select the 'Filters' tab option on the
left.
Filters
are a group of effects that can be applied to a slide. When they
are applied, the whole slide will be effected by
them.
The
filter effects include things like:- Adjust brightness/contrast,
add a lens-blur, apply an old film overlay, or blend the slide with
some pattern.
The top panel shows all the
'Available
filters' in the PhtotoVidShow
editor.
To
preview a filter effect, left click on the filter option in
the top panel. The preview panel on the right will then show the
currently selected slide with that effect applied to
it.
To add the filter effect to the
slide, left
click on the 'Add filter' button. This will also add the
filter effect to the 'Current
filters' panel
at the bottom.
Some filters have
addition settings. E.g. see the blur effect in the top picture.
These additional options only apply to the currently selected
filter.
To select a filter in the
slide, left
click on the filter in the 'Current
filters' panel
at the bottom.
From here you can
re-adjust the filter (if it has additional options).
To remove a filter from the
slide, select
the filter and then left click the 'Remove
filter' button
on the right.
The order the filters are applied
can sometimes be imported, so the order can be changed by using the
up and down arrows on the right. The first filter in the
'Current
filters' panel
will be on top and the last filter will be at the
bottom.
For further control on the order
decorations and filters are drawn or applied in the slide, left
click the 'Order layers' button.
